I would like to share my thoughts on life with this poem as now I see more than ever what the real meaning is for me. The picture insert is a painting I did with the thoughts and feelings of aging, obscured vision depicted by the dirty window, the ripped blind and worn window frame, the over paint onto the glass the frayed collar on the shirt all a sense of wear with age....This is all done with my grandfather in mind...a wonderful man who in his younger years became crippled in a farming accident yet still carried on to head a loving family.............
