This is a photo (fishing boat) was taken on the north shore of New Brunswick, Canada, near Gaspe Quebec boarder while on a field trip/art research. To me, although beaten and in disrepair it still had a strength and beauty as if remembering the time that it sailed with pride on the open ocean.

Growing up in Hespeler, Ontario (now part of Cambridge), his natural surroundings provided endless inspiration to sketch. His subject of choice has always been rural scenes, nature and wildlife. As a boy with a vivid imagination, Ron had snowmen riding horses.
As time progressed his photography skills preserved his subjects for later pieces of art....
